Lessons from Silicon Valley: Building and Selling a Startup

18th December, 2014 @ 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Lessons from Silicon Valley:  Building and Selling the Startup Company.  Tom Klein who practiced venture capital and mergers and acquisitions law in Silicon Valley for 25 years will  present key lessons in forming and protecting the start-up enterprise, building value and gaining leverage in financing negotiations, conflicts for founders to avoid with their venture capital and strategic investors, best practices in selling the enterprise, and how to navigate the sale process while keeping the company “on plan”.
Tom Klein, SVP Corporate Dev and General Counsel at Persistent Systems. Tom has extended his support to put a small talk and pass on learnings to startups from his past experience in Valley, while he was working with many such startups in various roles. He is visiting Pune and we are hosting a small event [on 18th Dec 2014, 5.30pm at Persistent Auditorium at Bhageerath office at SB Road]  to invite all entrepreneurs and startup communities to hear out his views and take new learnings from him on subject outlined here below. He and Anand has personally suggested this topic, which we believe is typically not being talked out much in INDIAN startup communities because of which we think could be a great value add to startups in their journey.
Would be glad to get your support to extend and share this to all your respective communities , entrepreneurs, startups, angels, mentors, etc  to leverage Tom’s expertise in this area.
