I am at San Francisco airport headed back to Pune and for two strong reasons I have renowned spiritual teacher, author, and lecturer Marrianne Williamson’s quote ringing in my head; “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?” It has been a busy few weeks for all of us in the #PNCamp volunteer team and I can’t wait to share why I feel this way with our audience.
It seems to be a beautiful period lined up with a good technology dose! This was a great week at Dreamforce here at San Francisco and in less than a couple of weeks we have #PNCamp coming to Pune. I couldn’t be more excited! For someone passionate about finding solutions using technology, I find both somewhat similar; somewhat different. Technology and great products is at the heart of both; the formats different! I seriously hope one more similarity comes out from these—that’s around women participation!
While Dreamforce had a number of things going, the one thing I am sure everyone noticed was the presence and leadership of women leaders in technology. Yes, we had Meg Whitman from HP, Sheryl Sandberg from Facebook, Marissa Mayer from Yahoo. It is great to see women participating and leading in technology sector and various forums. They spoke about different aspects of building great products; partnerships to drive business synergies; and promoting diversity to bring about better business results all to create great technology products.
#PNCamp has a similar agenda—to help product leaders conquer and overcome challenges around customer discovery and scale hacking to leapfrog to the next level. It means business. We at #PNCamp hope to see women product leaders come ahead and participate in this experiential learning bootcamp for product leaders. As a token of our support, we have 5 exclusive free passes for women leaders participating in #PNCamp!! Reach out to us and we will be happy to extend the invite.
Just remember Marrianne Wiliamson, “…actually who are you not to be?”
