Forming Your Startup in the US & Visa Options

We are pleased to invite you for the first #PNMeetup on 3rd January 2014 from 5 to 7pm at MIDC, Andheri, Mumbai* . The Session will be led by New York attorney Cyrus D. Mehta and we will discuss about when and how to form your startup in the USA, including whether to form a subsidiary, branch or independent entity. The discussion will also include the different kinds of entities to choose from and the appropriate state for forming the entity. Finally, Mr. Mehta will also address the various visa options available in connection with setting up and operating your startup in the US. PROFILE OF CYRUS D. MEHTA
Cyrus Mehta is the founder and managing attorney of Cyrus D. Mehta & Associates, PLLC (CDMA). He represents corporations and individuals from around the world in business and employment immigration, family immigration, consular matters, naturalization, federal court litigation and asylum. He also advises lawyers on ethical issues. Based on 20 years of experience in immigration law, he is able to comprehend all kinds of problems and provide effective, ethical and strategic solutions to his clients. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Brooklyn Law School where he teaches a course, Immigration and Work.
Mr. Mehta is the Chair of the Ethics Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He is also the former Chair of AILA’s Pro Bono Committee. Mr. Mehta is a frequent speaker at AILA conferences and has also served on several other AILA national and AILA-NY Chapter committees over the years. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Volunteers of Legal Services, Inc.
