We all know quite well the value of Design to business, and Design Thinking to problem solving. But what remains a bit fuzzy for many start-ups, organizations & individuals is the distance.
Are you a design thinker who is exploring new ways to serve and support people by uncovering latent needs, behaviors, and desires?
The session would focus on the following topics
1. User-Centered Design (talk about why users should play a central role in design through examples)
2. Good design is a process (walk through process of design through case studies)
3. Good design is good business (why conscious design usually improves RoI)
4. Cultivating Design Thinking: Anyone can be a designer (conduct short exercises through design examples to illustrate design thinking)

Inviting #Startups for a #design showcase
These are interesting time for Indian Startup Ecosystem, with an amazing amount of startup growth lately. Most of these startups happen to be in the digital space and cross paths every now and then with the sub-fields of digital design such as User Interface Design and User Experience.
Unfortunately, India is not known for its Design Culture just yet. It’s time we focus and cultivate a few good design discussions that help us all in the Indian ecosystem.
We are inviting digital startups to showcase their case study at NetSolutions on 15th Oct 2013.
What is in it for Startups?
- Other than a good dose of design discussion, showcased startups will have an opportunity to have critical feedback from our Design Experts at thevenue.
- Startups will be able to have their design related queries resolved by the Experts
- Experts shall share a few quick, in expensive methodologies to improve the design score of one’s startup
- Also, experts may share a few points on how to critique and understand a well functional design and eventually hire a better designer
